Connection
Internet is only needed to download the AI model. After that, transcription works offline.
How to install Parrocchettami
- Download the DMG file using the button above.
- Open the DMG and drag Parrocchettami into the Applications folder.
- Open the app. macOS may show a security warning on first launch.
- If the warning appears, close it. Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security.
- Scroll to the message about Parrocchettami and choose Open Anyway.
- Confirm the second launch of the app.
Why does the warning appear? Parrocchettami is not notarized yet. This means Apple has not verified the app through its notarization process; it does not mean macOS found malware. The warning appears until the developer has the app checked through Apple's developer program. The code is open source and can be inspected or built directly from source.
